Had a trip at Corregidor last Sunday and the GUN batteries that were placed around the Island made me feel how AWSOME it is to be a part of theHISTORY(WWII).  Handling and Firing this GUN could jump start your heart up to its limits and seeing ships burned and sunked by this awsome giant GUN.!! This is one of the gun batteries that we visited on the Island and some gun batteries have 2-5 guns each. But on the island this is the biggest of its kind. This is the BATTERY HEARN and I did some little research for this..Battery Hearn - The Americans started setting up Battery Hearn in 1918 and completed work on it in 1921 at a cost of $148,105. This 12-inch seacost west-ranged guns had a maximum range of 29,000 yards and was capable of firing in all directions. It was one of the last major additions to Corregidor’s defense system which was intended to defend the island against enemy naval threat from the South China Sea. Battery Hearn had been in action firing towards Cavite from February 1942 and on April 8 and 9, 1942, towards Bataan. This gun emplacement was captured nearly intact by the Japanese when Corregidor fell and it was subsequently repaired by them and put back into action. It was, however, completely neutralized by American aerial bombardment in January and February of 1945.

  5.   If you’re going to get the most from your digital images, you have to use some sort of image-processing program. A camera doesn’t “capture” reality, it interprets it based on sensor range and limits, camera designer decisions, and processing done by the camera before the image becomes a RAW or JPEG file. Today, we have a wealth of excellent programs available to help in this interpretation, whether that means making a more accurate photo of a natural scene or creating something more unusual that fits the fine-art category. Adobe Photoshop has long stood at the top of this field, and for good reason, as it’s a powerful program. But is it still the best program for all photographers? A question I’m asked more often now is, “Lightroom looks interesting, but why should I bother with it if I already have Photoshop?” There’s no question that you could use Photoshop and its associated Bridge program to successfully work on your images. And that’s true whether you use JPEG or RAW. And I definitely believe Photoshop in some form (even if it’s Photoshop Elements) is still needed.
Here are 10 advantages to Lightroom, and it’s important to understand that they apply to both JPEG and RAW workflows.
Nondestructive editing.
Better controls over organizing your photos.
 Large views.
Quickly customizable interface.
Interface that keeps controls readily and quickly accessible.
Always-available History palette.
Superior batch or multiple image processing.
Superior color control.
Nondestructive, easy local control.
Nondestructive cloning and healing brush.
Yes, it’s true that, unlike Bridge, you have to get Lightroom to “recognize” your photos by importing them into the program (you actually don’t import the photos into the program, but import information about their location so Lightroom can find them). But you only have to do this once and you’re set. With Bridge, you have to find the photos’ locations each time and wait for Bridge to load their previews every time (you can tell Lightroom to always have full-sized previews at the ready).

What to some may seem like a disgusting place that one hastens to pass is a suitable sleeping place for others. Drainage pipes, train stations, garbage bins, house entrances and really any little ledge not claimed by anyone else are turned into makeshift beds by millions of homeless children every night.
UNICEF distinguishes three types of street children: street living children, street working children and children from street families.
Street living children are those who ran away from home and live alone on the streets.
Street working children are those who spend most of their time on the streets, fending for themselves but who return home on a regular basis.
Children from street families live on the street with their families.
Homeless street children, i.e. those without any contact with their families who live, work and sleep on the street, are at the highest risk as they share don’t share a familial bond with anyone and have no one to take care of them. Murder, abuse and inhumane treatment are unfortunately what await most of them.
This picture of a homeless boy was taken at the Police Outpost in Hi-way Seno Mandaue City, Cebu during the morning rush hour. Hundreds of people went about their business while the boy sheltered himself from danger and potential night rain(before he slept).
The young boy’s needs were never met and our government has been very busy in earning money fraudulently. Even the simplest need of the boy as shown in the picture which is SAFETY has never been provided by two of our government officers. It looks like that all of us are comfortable seeing people sleeping around our public places and it just shows that change has never been implemented by the government.

ONE TINY ISLET on A BIG STAGNANT LAKE… Awsome place…!!This is the famous LAKE DANAO in Camotes. All 700 hectares of fresh water, it is the biggest and the only natural lake in Cebu. Home to the purple heron and the Philippine wild duck, and CROCODILES in which they claimed extinct. (the hell!! if they say there were CROCS living in this place before then I believe you.) I just made a little research and guess what. The blog says..
This place used to be full of crocodiles until they were all hunted down and their hides were sold in Mindanao to produce bags, shoes, and belts out of crocodile skin.
Anyhow, I took this picture just few months ago and the place was super awsome. The water was like the biggest mirror in the world and ‘twas super stagnant up until we passed by with the customized banka raft. The experience was worth it and I love to go back and do some photoshoots on the tiny islet.

    heres the lyrics…

    Napatunganga nung bigla kitang nakita
    Pagkalipas ng mahabang panahon.

Highschool pa tayo nung una kang nakilala
    At tandang tanda ko pa
Noon pa ma’y sobrang lupit mo na
Hindi ko lang alam kung pano,
    Basta biglang nagsama tayo
Di nagtagal ay napaibig mo ako

Mula umaga hanggang uwian natin laging
    Magkasama tayong dalawa
    Parang kahapon lang nangyari
    Sa kin ang lahat
    Tila isang dulang medyo romantiko
    Ang banat

    Ngunit nung napag-usapan,
    Bigla nalang nagkahiyaan
Mula noon hindi na tayo nagpansinan

    At bakit ko ba pinabayaan
    Mawala ng hindi inaasahan
    Parang nasayang lang.
    Nawala na, wala nang nagawa

    Panay ang plano,
    Ngunit panay ang urong at
Inabot na ng dulo ng taon
    Graduation natin nung biglang
    Nag-absent partner ko
    Tadhana nga naman!
    Naging mag-partner tayo
    Eksakto na ang timing
    Planado na ang sasabihin
    Ngunit hanggang huli, wala akong
    Nasabi

    At bakit ko ba pinabayaan
    Mawala ng hindi inaasahan
    Parang nasayang lang
Nawala na at wala nang nagawa

    Napatunganga nung bigla kitang nakita
